Complicated = More Money

It's a beautiful Friday and I spent a good amount of time messing with Meta ads and getting a bunch of work done.

The cool thing about Meta ads (and google ads) is that it’s complicated. Especially if you want to do them correctly.

Why is that good for us?

Because most people will never go through the pain of learning how to run them  properly.

Because I still remember how annoying and tedious it was to set it up properly.

But think about it - the higher the barrier of entry it is, the more beneficial it is if you get it down. 

If it was easy and everyone could do it. Then don’t you think that would get rid of any possible advantage you would get if you mastered? Any advantage you would’ve had would immediately disappear since the barrier of entry is just: 'are you a human?'.

No. The best things are always hidden. It’s always stored away somewhere. You have to go through a temple like something you would see in Indian Jones, dodge the traps, make sure you don’t get hit with some poison arrow or some giant boulder along the way.

And only then will you be rewarded.

So yeah, I basically spent a good amount of time being Indian Jones.
